Jared Marcus

Principal

Mr. Marcus is a co-founder and Principal of LM Real Estate Partners. Mr Marcus is responsible for all aspects of sourcing and financing LM investments. Mr. Marcus was formerly a Vice President at Alliance Bernstein where he focused on the placement of over $1.5 billion in real estate debt across the U.S. Prior to joining Alliance Bernstein, Mr. Marcus served in progressively senior roles at Gramercy Capital from 2007 through 2013. During his tenure, Gramercy originated and purchased over $1.5 billion in commercial real estate loans and securities. From 2011 through 2013, Mr. Marcus served as a senior member of real estate debt capital markets and collateral manager for the company’s 3 commercial real estate CDO transactions secured by first mortgages, b-notes, mezzanine loans and CMBS; totaling $3.1 billion in collateral. Jared holds a BBA in Business from the Steven M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BS from the College of Literature, Sciences & Arts at the University of Michigan.
